Company background

Our client is a health and safety consulting firm that provides training and consultancy services to businesses in various industries. The company has been in operation for several years and has built a reputation for providing high-quality health and safety training materials.


Requirement discussion: Convert PPT to eLearning

The health and safety consulting firm approached us with a request to convert their existing classroom training materials, consisting of approximately 275 Convert PPT to e-learning course

Additionally, they were interested in exploring the possibility of an improved online learning platform as part of their preparation for moving to a new technology. The decision was motivated by the growing demand for online learning and the ongoing impact of the pandemic on traditional classroom training.

The client requested that the new training courses be future-proof, with the ability to upgrade the courses and develop new features without being locked in to a particular vendor.

Despite having a Learning Management System (LMS), the client faced challenges in creating an engaging and compelling training module. 

The client also requested that the terminologies used in the classroom materials be followed to ensure that the health and safety messages from the PowerPoint slides were accurately represented in the e-learning course.

Finally, the course should be completed within a strict deadline of 30 days.

Our approach

After consulting with the health and safety firm, we designed a customised e-learning course sample that provides a comprehensive online learning solution optimised for the needs of employees and learners. 

Providing samples to the client was an opportunity for them to evaluate our work and make an informed decision based on their needs and preferences. We understood that the samples could help them to assess the quality of our work, the level of detail, and the approach we took to develop the e-learning courses.

Our solution

Convert PPT to eLearning: Course development

    1. The e-learning course storyboard was developed based on the learning objectives derived from the PowerPoint (PPT) presentation, with a specific focus on the conversion process from PPT to e-learning.
    2. To make the e-learning course more engaging, we decided to use multimedia elements such as
      1. Images, animations, audio, videos, interactive quizzes were used to make the e-learning course more visually appealing.

      3. A course completion certificate was provided upon completing the e-learning course to foster learner motivation.
      4. Ensuring that custom e-learning courses were mobile-friendly to allow learners to access the content on their preferred devices, increasing the convenience and accessibility of the courses.
    3. The e-learning course were delivered in SCORM-compliant packages, which seamlessly deployed on any LMS.

Integration of the LMS:

As part of our e-learning solution for the client, we also assisted in the integration of the newly created courses with their existing Learning Management System (LMS). This involved uploading the courses onto the system and ensuring that they were fully compatible with the LMS.

We conducted several tests to ensure that the courses worked smoothly within the LMS and that learners were able to access and navigate them without any issues. We also provided training to the client’s staff on how to use and manage the courses within the LMS.

The successful integration of the courses into the LMS ensured that the client was able to deliver high-quality online training to their employees and learners effectively.


Project management:

We ensure the successful completion of the project within 30 days, we utilised effective project management techniques and a streamlined workflow, which involved identifying the project scope and objectives, setting up a timeline, defining roles and responsibilities, and developing a project plan. We also utilised various tools and software, including a well-managed team tracking tool and a project progress map, to manage the project effectively. 

Furthermore, we held weekly meetings with the client to address their needs and pain points throughout the project.

Our use of these techniques enabled us to complete the project on time and deliver high-quality e-learning courses. We were able to work efficiently and effectively, which helped us save time and resources while still delivering excellent results.
